Helping you navigate life's challenges
Is it time to talk? Do you need a confidential, non-judgmental space to speak and be heard while navigating life's journey? Are you experiencing difficulties such as divorce, separation, or bereavement? Do you feel anxious or depressed? Are you struggling to understand your feelings or sense that something's not quite right?
I'm Jane Cilliers LLB (Hons), MNCPS (Acc.) , an integrative counsellor based in Sunbury-on-Thames and a member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I work with adult individuals, offering both short-term and long-term therapy. Whether you're dealing with relationship issues, facing fears, struggling with anxiety, or looking to build self-esteem, I'm here to listen and help you facilitate change. My approach is tailored to your unique needs, and I offer sessions both online and in-person at my practice in Sunbury-on-Thames.
Counselling isn't a miracle cure. A lifetime of troubles is unlikely to be fixed in a few weeks. Counselling is about working together to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe, supportive environment helping you to make sense of your issues and bringing change. Our sessions provide you with the time and space to slow down and reflect, to gain fresh perspectives on your challenges. Personal growth and change come from reflection. Together, we'll develop strategies for managing your emotions and navigating life's complexities. The heart of our work lies in the connection we build; the therapeutic relationship is a powerful tool for growth and healing. My integrative approach allows me to draw from various techniques, ensuring our work together is as effective as possible.
If you're considering counselling and would like to see if we're a good fit, I offer a 15-minute initial consultation. This gives us a chance to discuss your needs and how we might work together. Don't hesitate to reach out - your journey towards understanding and growth starts with a single conversation.
Sunbury Counselling: Your support in personal growth and emotional wellbeing.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it's important that you feel comfortable with your counsellor. That's why I offer a 15-minute initial consultation, free of charge. This brief session gives us both a chance to get to know each other a little and see if we're a good fit.
It's an opportunity for you to get a sense of who I am and how I work, and for me to understand a bit about where you're at in your journey. There's no obligation to continue after this consultation - it's all about finding the right fit for you.
My practice is based in the heart of Sunbury-on-Thames, a charming town nestled along the River Thames. This convenient location is easily accessible from surrounding areas including Shepperton, Walton-on-Thames, Ashford, Staines-upon-Thames, and Hampton. Whether you're in Sunbury itself or coming from nearby, you'll find my practice a welcoming space for our sessions.
My counselling room offers a quiet, private environment where we can work together without interruption. There's ample parking available nearby, making it easy if you're driving. For those using public transport, we're well-served by local bus routes, and Sunbury train station is just a short walk away.
The exact address will be provided once we've arranged our first session. This ensures your privacy and allows me to maintain a confidential and secure space for all my clients.
